January 7th, 2019 - Las Vegas, Nevada (CES): Mobile Nations, a digital publisher reaching more than 50 million consumers a month through its portfolio of consumer brands, announces it has acquired TechnoBuffalo, a globally recognized mobile technology brand. Mobile Nations existing specialist and tech enthusiast brands, which include Android Central, iMore, Windows Central, CrackBerry, and CordCutters will be complemented by TechnoBuffalo’s consumer-centric approach to its content strategy.

Key Deal Highlights:

  • Mobile Nations has acquired the TechnoBuffalo website, Twitter and Facebook accounts

  • Jon Rettinger, founder of TechnoBuffalo and popular YouTube creator, will retain and rebrand his YouTube channel and continue to pursue his passion for creating videos under a new persona-driven brand

  • Several TechnoBuffalo content creators will remain with Mobile Nations

Nirave Gondhia will lead the new TechnoBuffalo growth strategy in the role of Site Manager. The company will migrate TechnoBuffalo onto its proprietary content publishing and community platform and shopping enablement tech stack. The full integration of TechnoBuffalo into Mobile Nations is expected to be complete by the end of Q1 2019.
